AC-Servo
Amplifiers - AC-Servo - stand-alone - analog
The choice depends on performance, size, voltage and current capabilities of the different drives.
- DR100RE series are mostly used in battery driven applications.
- S200 and S300 are basic amplifiers.
- S400 and S600 are more advanced and have a better control loop ratings than the previous mentioned controllers.
- S400 series is specially development and an economical attractive solution for multi-axes.
Please select your choice and find more details in the corresponding datasheets.

AC-Servo - stand-alone - fieldbus
Some of our controllers can be controlled via a field bus. Depending on the distance, number of nodes (divices), needed communication speed, and the availability of the master motion controller a field bus can be selected. In the tabel below you can find some properties of the different field busses.

CANopen
A CANopen interface is integrated into the standard instrument. If several controllers are linked together through the CANopen interface, then the entire group can be parameterized and commissioned with the aid of a PC and the windows™ operator software, without requiring a master.
Profibus
The servo amplifier can be operated through a profibus DP interface.
Transmission procedure:
- profibus DP to EN 50170
- baud rates 187.5 kBaud to 12 MBaud
- supports the PROFIBUS drive profile profidrive
RS232
The RS232 standard allows a single amplifier to be connected to a PC, or similar devices using a cable length of less than 15M. Maximum data rate is about 20k bits/s and requires 3 wires.
DeviceNet
A DeviceNet Interface can be used as an option. Transmission procedure:
- CAN-Standard ISO 11898 (high-speed communication)
- 500kBit/s max. transmission speed
SERCOS
sercos makes it possible to transmit setpoint and actual values with different cycle times (1 to 65 ms) with an additional interpolation of the setpoints within the drive. This enables a synchronization that is exact to the µs, for fast, precise multi-axis control.
Transmission procedure:
- sercos standard to IEC 61491
- transmission through interference-proof optical fibres
- baud rate pre-selectable to 2 or 4 MBaud
- optical output power is adjustable sercos Interface
