Accessories - IP housing
housings are ment to protect motors, tacho's, brakes or encoders against water or dust. Also it can protect the unit from mechanical damage. There are different protection classes. General use IP40, IP54 en IP65.
Protection class:
- IP40 (494kB) IP 40 protection against penetration of solid products having a diameter greater than 1 mm
- IP cover for complete motor unit (example RC unit)
- IP54 (93kB) protection against dust and splashing water, IP cover for brake, encoder and tacho only, IP cover for complete motor unit (example RC unit)
- IP65 (758kB) protection against dust tight and protected against water jets in all directions
