DC-motor - brushless - rotary
Generally you can say that brushless motors are used in applications where life time is essential and where often
much start stops are required. Also the power/ volume ratio is higher than brush type motors. DC brushless motors are defined as motors and controllers which can be connected to a DC voltage supply. Brushless motors always require an amplifier that controls the current through the windings, also called commutation. This amplifier can be stand-alone or in many cases built-in.
The main differences between the BG series and the BM series are: power range and available features. BG-series have as a standard feature built-in electronics.
The BG series
The below mentioned DC brushless motors have a build-on commutation control board. Also it can hoast a integrated speed controller with an analog input. Of course are also inouts available to start or stop the motor. For more details we advice you to open the catalog in the table below.

BM series
The brushless servomotors series BM are characterized by high dynamic performances with limited dimensions and weights.
This thanks to:
the maximum exploitation of the cooper in stator winding
the particular structure of the rotor, which allows the maximum concentration of magnetic flux
the use of high energy NdFeB permanent.
The servomotors series BM are equipped with hall-effect sensors and encoders to allow an accurate position and speed checking, they can be easily customized by some option type resolver or upon other customer's inquiry.

Linear actuators - systems
ERIKS also delivers complete linear systems. This means motor (any type) connected to a piston, timing-belt or screw-lead linear unit, with a suitable controller and, if desirable, application software.
We can distinguish two systems:
- Standard complete solutions with DC-supply voltage up to 80W from IAI
- Customized complete solutions
If standard solutions does not fit your requirements, we can design and select components out of our wide range of standard products combined with inhouse engineering capabilities. This way we can design economical combinations for small and medium sized series. We can design linear solutions with all motor types such as DC motors, Steppers, AC-Servo and A-Synchronous motors.
